Developed from a special cooperation between us, the Ziegler distillery and the internationally renowned Palatinate winemaker Markus Schneider, the Sarto combines the best of two worlds. With grapes from the Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Merlot varieties, which were processed using the classic double distillation process and matured in oak and chestnut barrels, you can expect an exceptional pomace brandy with a gently fruity and citrus finish - perfect for connoisseurs with the highest demands.

 Since this noble wine traditionally comes from Italy, we have lovingly named it “Sarto”, because that is the Italian name for tailor.
